Serenity, beauty and friendliness are the foundation of living well in Village Green.  Sixty-nine individual custom homes in the style of English Cottages dot the rolling manicured landscape.  Located in preferred East Cobb (GA), and within minutes of restaurants, shopping and healthcare facilities, Village Green offers a secure and low-maintenance lifestyle.  Village Green is private with gated access.  The colorful and abundant landscaping, with over 50% of the development dedicated to green space, distinguishes Village Green and sets the tone for a casual and relaxing quality of life.

Each home is unique in its design and detail which includes zero entry main- level living and contemporary amenities and features, suitable for today’s senior living.  Homes were built between 2015-2018, and square footage ranges from 2,275 – 4,200+ depending on the design.   Each cottage-style home has two bedrooms, both with a full bath on the main floor and two car-attached garages.  All homes have a finished bonus area on the second floor with space for two additional (bed)rooms or office and a bath.  A few of the homes have full basements.  The Village Green HOA is responsible for:

  • Lawn maintenance, fertilization and plantings
  • Exterior home painting
  • Architectural standards
  • Amenity and community conservation
  • Trash removal
  • Street and infrastructure maintenance

Village Green at East Cobb is a 55+ age restricted community and allows no rentals or leasing.  Our By-laws and Covenants/Restrictions and the associated amendments afford governance through an elected Home Owner’s Association Board of Directors and various committees. 

Amenities include:

  • Pavilion with fireplace and grill for entertaining (privately available to residents on a reserved basis)
  • Substantial verdant acreage with gentle stream
  • Raised garden beds in the garden area to satisfy our residents’ “green thumbs”
  • Private roads with gated access

Sixty-nine homes is a nearly perfect number to maintain a “neighborhood feel,”  yet have the economies of scale to prudently care for Village Green’s infrastructure and not be a burden to each resident. The homes are within reasonably close proximity to each other, so social interaction is readily available.   Whether they are walking the dog, strolling down to the garden area, or just visiting at the Pavilion, the neighbors  experience “community” at Village Green.
